Southern England - Lynton Scenic Railway

You can see how far down it is to what they call the 'Valley of Rocks'. The railway is quite steep and is run by moving water from the top to the bottom using gravity which in turn pulls one tramcar up as the other goes down. See the bridge across the railway partway down? I wasn't fast enough with my camera but a van as big as ours went across that just minutes before. We are amazed by the narrow roads and how patient drivers are getting from A to B in such conditions.
